I have used MDF bases for these name plaques and  adhered painted Water colour Paper Wall Decor Word on them.

I have used 4x4 mini frames here

I have used a couple of designer mdf frames to get this Family Photo Wall together.

it's all about the little things, simple gestures that makes a huge difference in my life 🙏 I truly enjoyed making this creation and thrilled to be experimenting with all that I have.

Diwali 2019 Handmade cards

Hello friends ,

As the countdown for Diwali has begun and I have geared up to make Diwali cards to be sent out to friends and family.

For those who do not know about Diwali, or Deepavali, is the Hindu festival of lights, which is celebrated every autumn and One of the most popular festivals of Hinduism, Diwali symbolises the spiritual "victory of light over darkness, good over evil and knowledge over ignorance".

I have used old wedding invitations I dint feel like throwing away and converted them into lovely Diwali cards ! What say ?

I have used card stocks 6x4 as the base and worked on with the scraps to create these beautiful cards. I have die cut the diyas and layered them along with sentiments . The diya die cut and sentiments are from Mudra stampa. I have even heat embossed the sentiments here.

I make sure I have loads of activities planned over the week for my kid as a Diwali tradition and you can read them all in the following blog posts HERE and HERE
That is all for today :)

Quick Diwali cards

Hello friends ,
As the countdown for Diwali has begun and I have geared up to make Diwali cards to be sent out to friends and family. What happens when the recycler in me beats the crafter in me !

I have used old wedding invitations I dint feel like throwing away and converted them into lovely Diwali cards ! What say ?

I have used the most attractive parts from the invitation cards and cut them down to adhere them on a 6x4 cardstock. I have planned the layout in such a way that it enhances the tradition and the blend of western card making. I have used stickers of the diya in few places and added stamped sentiments.

In few cards I have used punch art to give borders or make it look like a diya .

I have used ganesha cutouts from different invites and added them to my creation to bring out the traditional look in the Diwali cards.

For those who do not know about Diwali, or Deepavali, is the Hindu festival of lights, which is celebrated every autumn and One of the most popular festivals of Hinduism, Diwali symbolises the spiritual "victory of light over darkness, good over evil and knowledge over ignorance".

I have made sure I have stamped the diwali sentiments right on the card surfaces. So these creations are a blend of die cutting, punch art and stamping giving the old invitation cards a new life .

I make sure I have loads of activities planned over the week for my kid as a Diwali tradition and you can read them all in the following blog posts HERE and HERE
