Rose day card with tiny roses

Hello friends ,

I more often tend to make cards out of my scrapbooking waste or scraps  than I make them from scratch ! If you understand what I mean , I am not a card maker and I often tend to use the left overs from my scrapbooking creations to fit in to make a card. Once again I have made a card with scraps on my table but yet with a difference. I call these quick 10 mins cards and they are easy to make.

Rose day card with tiny roses , I have used my lovely roses and filled a die cut heart with it . The background is created using a grey pattern paper on which I have layered spellbinders simple lattice die cut . I have used scrap paper fishtail hand cut tags and layered them to create the background. I have added a sentiment cut out and some lovely sparkles to bring out the best in the card.

A simple heart touching card I must say , That I am totally proud of making !!

That's it from my side for today. I would love to hear! Thank you for stopping by!

Scrapboard wall creations

Hello Friends ,
I over at Mudra Blog today to share some inspirations for this months Love is in the Air Challenge. I'm sharing 2 Canvas Scrap boards with the Love Theme but making sure I'm not using the usual Valentine colours !!

I have created these 2 lovely 8x6 canvas board creations to document a travel journey of a couple. The themes are according to the city of they traveled. I have always been wanting to make something like this that could go on the wall... do go and check them out upclose.

These scrapboards are with pine backing that helps them go directly on the wall or can be framed and displayed on the wall.

I always have a thing for these chipzebs and totally dig working with them let me know how you liked my creations using them !!

Easy and quick Valentines day love themed cards

Hello friends ,

This month at Mudra  "Love is in the air" so here I am sharing creations as inspirations for this months Mudra Craft Challenge #30 .

I have made some easy and quick love themed cards for the last minute valentines creations. I have chosen to go along with Chipzebs as focus this time and you can see the lovely results here....These cards are themed for Bear day , kiss day , hug day promise day and so on

Card 1
Promise day Card

For this card I have created the background with pattern papers. I have kept the theme rustic and used one of the couples from the wedding couples chipzeb for the card.  I have used the Love equation stamp set in focus here .

Card  2. Teddy Day Card

For this card I have coloured the Teddy bear chipzeb with copic markers and layered it on the card with a bunch of balloons ephemera. The card is 6x4 " and the background is created using pattern paper from my stash.
Isnt this a perfect teddy day card quick and easy !

Card 3 Kiss day card

I have used these lovely couples from the Made for each other chipzeb set and created 2 layers of the card . The couple outside the card and inside the card are coloured with copic colours.

Card 4  Valentines day card

The last card once again uses the couple from Made for each other chipzeb set and here they are flying away along with the balloons. I have coloured them with copic colours and used along side with the  Together forever stamp set .

Love theme Explosion box card

Hello Friends ,
With February begins the season to express your love and Valentines day being around the corner do you think you need some ideas and inspirations for Valentines day creations ?

I am all excited to share all that I'm making to make this day special...

Explosion box -You can use it in many ways, as a card to express your feeling, Exploding box which substitutes a greeting card in a unique form with options to add personalized messages and even a small gift along with photographs. A dimensional piece of pure love and beauty! Once opened the four sides fall delicately to reveal the gorgeous designs with options to write messages for the recipient. Here u can see a triple heart center to express all the love

This is how I have made this -
  • I have used a 12"x12" pattern paper sheet and scored it at 4" and 8" then rotated the sheet and scored again at 4" and 8" using my Martha Stewart Scoreboard to make my box base.
  • I have used double sided pattern paper hence I haven't redone the pattern inside
  • I planned the inside look with 8 decorated sides and 6 pictures.
  • For the center, I have used  Heart die cut to create the triple heart easel.
  • I love to keep it simple and don't over embellish my boxes so added Pictures and  handmade embellishments
  • I have used sentiments from Mudra stamps to complete the look.
  • The sticker embellishments are from Itsy Bitsy and the paper pack used here is from Bob and Betty.
  • I have used Itsy Bitsy Dies for inner and outside frames of die cuts, the roses are handmade as well!
