Newtons London dreams Hugs and kisses card

Hello Friends ,

Im back again playing with Newtons London dreams stamp set ! This ones my all time favourite since my stay in Uk... I love to use them again and again and this ones a Valentines special !

I have followed the sketch from Inky Paws Challenge #89 and put this card together.

I have used red card stock as the base here and added a pattern paper scrap from my stash over it . I have used spellbinders simple lattice die cut as second layer to the card in white . I have used a sticker tape with roses and an heart die cut. I have used the couple scene with the Big Ben in the background creating a very romantic scene here. Added the hugs and kisses sentiments to complete the card.

That's it from my side for today. Thanks for dropping in would love to know if you enjoyed my work too!! Thank you for stopping by!

Valentines day Shabby chic pop up message card

Hello friends

Im sharing a lovely Valentines day Shabby chic card with an pop up message card with you all today.
This is a 7x5 sized card with pretty in pink pattern paper background created with papers in my stash. I have used a wood theme sticker backing background that I have cut like a tag and added on the card.
Over the tag I have used a lovely flower bouquet called the paper crafting Medley Liliana
from Little Birdie/ Itsy Bitsy and finally completed the front of the card with an journalling card.

As you open the card you find an pop up message inside and I have made it using 6x6 floral pattern paper from Little Birdie . This is a simple 3 fold pop up , fold at the center on 2 sides of the square and 3 fold is matching the end which gives the pop up mountains . I have decorated it with stamped sentiments of love from Mudra stamps sets. This is a super fun fold and I loved making this one for this Valentines season.

Scientifically Speaking Valentines day Handmade Card

Hello Friends,

I'm here today to share a Simple card I made using Clearly besotted- Scientifically Speaking stamp set and following the  Less is more Challenge #387 - Sketch 25

I have used Mudra Crafts Stencils Falling Heart along with worn lipstick distress ink and created the background on the card. I have stamped and fussy cut the images, wherein I have added the heart bubbles to them I have coloured the images with copic colours and adhered them with double sided tape on the card. The sentiment is also from the same Clearly besotted- Scientifically Speaking stamp set which I have stamped and hand cut as a fish tail and adhered with double sided foam tape to create dimension.

This is my take on Less is more Challenge #387 - Sketch 25

Shabby Chic Door Hanger

Hello Peeps,
Happy New year , Hope you all are having a great start... I'm all excited to share a lovely creation I ended up making for this years first post of mine at Mudra Blog!

This is a beautiful shabby chic door hanger that is absolutely every girls Dream !

I have used a leftover chipboard piece from my stash and put it to great use here. The base of the creation is created using scraps of pattern papers that I have accumulated and especially choose all shades of pink I had. They are pieces in different sizes and shapes but lovely to create an awesome background like this. Doesn't this  sound awesome and great reuse of the paper scraps you tend to save for better use.

I have used soft gel to stick and put together this whole background with the pattern paper scraps and then layered it with clear gesso priming it for the acrylics I planned to go over it with.I have stenciled the background with Asian Tile Pattern Stencil and texture paste. I just love the out come as I have gone randomly over the creation.Wildfloral Scroll Chipzeb looked perfect to start with in the center along with the Steampunk Heart Chipzeb. Further I decided to add the flowers and the succulents to complete the creation. The printed sentiment goes perfectly on the Shabby chic door hanger I created with Mudra Chipzebs and stencil.

Retirement Album scrapbook

Hello friends ,
I got a chance to create an retirement album on commission basis and this is how it all came together.
This is my first time making an Retirement album , though I have made Retirement cards and when it comes to albums I have made albums for Milestone birthdays and send off's for office colleagues nothing in particular to as named as retirement album hence I got excited to make this album.

This is a 8x8" ring bound album with 8 decorated sheets and each holding special events of the person this album was made for.

Sharing the outer page cover here in the close up. I have decorated the front cover page keeping in mind whom it is been gifted to hence used rustic colours and chipboard embellishments to go with the sentiment and the blue flowers.

The album was a request from a daughter for her Dad's 60th Birthday as well as Retirement, so the concept was well chosen and planned well in advance and executed with attention to all details. The stamped images are usually blue or brown in colours and I have used blue as the base cardstock for the whole album.

The pages inside are decorated with old memories and new , as well filled with loving letters and messages from the near and dear ones ! There are flip flaps and inserts in many of the pages to accommodate the required pictures.

I have used the waterfall technique to put in all photos in sequence. You see all the close ups here.

All the pockets hold letters and love from all the friends and family who have been featured in the album. The letters were printed and put in lovely decorated envelopes and named accordingly, Totally a family treasure album I must say !

I was totally pleased to know that the receiver liked my creation and gave me an awesome feedback! What is more important for an artist than the happiness of seeing such positive feedback isn't it !!

Something Old- I have used Fiskars - Clear Acrylic Stamps - 8 x 8 - Good Times Quotes , one of my first stamp set purchased when I started crafting 7 plus years ago. This is a retirement album holding all Old memories as the receiver turns 60!

Something New- I have used Bob and Betty Optima paper pack that I have used for the very first time. The chipboard embellishments are from Mudra's latest release also.

Something Borrowed/Gifted- The flower embellishments are Gifted by my crafter friends.

Something Blue-Bob and Betty Optima paper pack is filled with Blues and I have added flowers that are in blue and go along with the theme and papers.

That is all for today :)
Happy Crafting!
