Thanks with a Flower Bunch !

Hello Friends ,

I'm here today to share another exciting creation I created using mudras latest stamp release  Flower Bunch stamp set . I totally love this stamp set in particular because it gives me more place to practice my colouring :P

The beautiful bouquets are always luring and if you love trying out your copics, watercolors or any other mediums of colouring you have plenty of place in here . I have coloured them with copics and combination of zig colour pens, giving me the perfect rich look I always like ! I learnt this late but combining various colour pen mediums is what works for me best while colouring as I don't own all the shades in Copics and Clean colours.

So here is how I put this card together -

  • I have adhered the coloured bouquet image on a pink 4"x5.5" cardstock with double sided tape.
  • On the card stock is a golden washi tape which enhances the look of the card .
  • I have added a die cut Thanks which I have die cut several times and adhered on each other creating layers  to give that thick outlook.

Love Slider Flip album

Hello friends,
I love creating this mini flip album and try giving it  a twist each time .

You can call this a one sheet wonder mini album as I have used only one single 12x12 cardstock as base of the album. This is a quick and easy project sized 6"x 6"

  • Score the 12x 12 sheet at 6" in the centers then just cut one side to 6"
  • Fold the scored lines and your flip album is ready to be decorated
  • I have used all the different sheets of the  Beary hugs paper pack to decorate each sides of the album
  • The cover of the flip album holds a teddy who slides making it an interactive cover

For the first flip I have made a pocket and small tags to go along for msgs and decorated it with the chipzeb .

The second layer holds a layout for picture and a beautiful stamped image

The third opening is more to fill in with pictures

The fourth and the last flip opens up for more pictures and decorated with a beautiful sentiment

This is how the whole 6x6 mini flip album with the slider cover looks completed, to fill it up with pictures of  your day of Love !!

Isn't this something you all would love to try :)

Hello friends

I have a card to share today made for the challenge at the Winnie and Walter blog for their 4th birthday bash. There are a couple of fun challenges there and I have chosen to play along with a few .

Here's a look at my card ,  I've used the Winnie & Walter The Big, the Bold and Extras set for this.

I started with a card stock measuring 4" x 5.5" for the card . Layered it with a sticker backing  [from my scrap stash] on which I have given a die cut corner using Spellbinders die .

I have stamped my flowers using Versafine Onyx Black ink pad and colored it using my Zig clean color brush pens , fussy cut it and adhered it along with the leaves on the circle chipboard element from Mudra  . I have used a heart die cut in the centre , layered it with double sided tape to give dimension to the card . . I have used a gold glitter washi on the side of my card   and sentiment from my stash to finish it up.

Valentines special layered card

Hello friends,

The month of Feb brings in the new breeze and all I can smell and say is Love is in the air <3

Keeping the valentine colours in my mind I wanted to create a card but I didn't want to use the roses !
I went in to use Poinsettia from my christmas collection !!

The base of this card is a printed kraft card from Itsy bitsy store.
I have layered the packaging corrugated paper over it in an inch smaller size and added it along double sided foam tape so that it gives a raised look !
I am trying to create dimensions here . I have added chipboard swirls for the first layer and over it a die cut oval on which the sentiment sticker "we are in love " stand .

Till here I was doing good but after that I felt  I was stuck ! Does that happen to you too?? what do you do when this happens??

Isn't that frustrating , sigh but I wanted to get this done and so I started browsing through my flower collections for something that would hint me the next step..... Finally the christmas leftover Poinsettia  came to my rescue !! Then the card completely fell in place as I added pearls and rhinestones.

A tough card this was for me but when I completed it I felt worth the Shot !!
