Hello Friends ,

I wanted to get going on my making 'to do' list and also learn some new skills, so I thought I would try to make at least one small project a week (sometimes large projects too!) and as I started to plan n I realised it would be a fantastic way to do something and challenge myself !

'52 Weeks, 52 Crafts' is a challenge I set out for myself and here are the creations this week
I am here today with Gorjuss stamp- you brought me love and Do crafts, TOADSTOOLS .

Simple Card Making Ideas

Hello friends ,
I am at Itsy Bitsy Blog  with Simple creations today , these are simple cards put together with quick and easy techniques . I have used Itsy Bity's all time favourite flower collection and chipboard elements . This fantastic range handmade flowers are perfect to add some elegant floral elements to your projects

Card 1

I have used Card stock sized 6x4 inches when folded
Layered it with papers or leftovers from my earlier project
Given  the pattern papers  rough edges with my scissors and stuck it flat to the card

Layered the card with chipboard element as the base
Added the Flowers and sentiments
 Finished it with a Butterfly

This card goes out for any occasion and a quick one or say last minute saver :)

Card 2

I have used a card stock measuring 6x4 inches when folded
Layered the card stock with a embossed card stock  5x3 inches

Here I have used the latest printed flower collection with Chipboard swirls
The corner is decorated with mini banners made from paper scraps
Finally added a Butterfly and a Sentiment sticker

Card 3

For this card I have created my own background
I have used a watercolour cardstock when folded measures 6x4 inches
I have painted strips in 2 shades of blue to create a back ground for the card

Once the bacgroound is dry and ready I have started designing with layering chipboard flowers

Further I have played around with printed flower collections and keeping the theme monochromatic

Hope to have inspired you to transform ordinary things into pretty stuff with just few craft supplies in hand :)

Fathers day Handmade card

Hello Peeps ,
I am sharing a Fathers day card I made for my Husband !
Yes keeping in mind all his favourite stuffs that my son listed out we made this .

The textured cardstock is stamped with musical notes to create the background as DH loves Music !

He has been playing Table (The tabla is a South Asian membranophone percussion instrument (similar to bongos), consisting of a pair of drums, used in traditional, classical, popular and folk music.[1] It has been a particularly important instrument in Hindustani classical music since the 18th century, and remains in use in India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. The name tabla likely comes from tabl, the Persian and Arabic word for drum. ) and Conga (The conga, also known as tumbadora, is a tall, narrow, single-headed drum from Cuba. Congas are staved like barrels and classified into three types: quinto (lead drum, highest), tres dos or tres golpes (middle), and tumba or salidor (lowest). Congas are traditionally used in Afro-Cuban genres such as conga and rumba, although they are now very common in some other forms of Latin music, including descarga, Afro-Cuban jazz, salsa, songo, merengue and Latin rock.) since his college days and wishes to learn Drums some day

DH is obsessed with his Alarm and loves being on time ,  I have die cut the clock using Tim Holtz Sizzix Big Die Tick Tock die and Big Shot.  The clock is colored using copper copics for DH loves antique stuffs .

Then it was his love for Cars , new and old ; Photography being his new craze and of course travel is always on his List !

This sums up each element used carefully to match his taste and favourite colours.

It was truly awesome fun , giving attention to details and putting together this card to match his taste and make it masculine yet bright and colourful ! This ones is one of my favourites and will be till I can out do this one :)
