Valentines Cards all Purrfect and Pawsitive

Hello friends ,
This Valentines Season I am working with some cute little Stamps from Itsy Bitsy

Here is the lot I have created with 2 stamp sets namely

And the stamps...they stamp perfectly. Love the crisp impression..takes ink easily
I totally love that fact that they are pocket friendly !!

Today I am sharing Steps of stamping

To use these, you need to buy an acrylic block. These come in an array of sizes, but for most stamping needs a 3×4″ or thereabouts should do you fine.

You just peel the stamp off its sheet, place it on the block and press it down, then ink it up and press it onto the paper (no rocking, just one fairly firm press).

PS - The block gets dirty and black by using a lot of black but it easily gives away when washed with soap and becomes shiny again!!

Here I have stamped all the images in one sheet

and repeated the steps with the other set too

I have tried to stretch my stamps and played along mix and matching the sentiments with both the sets !

Next step is to colour them as you wish

and here you go

For this card I have stenciled background with  STENCIL IRREGULAR DOT
Die cut Heart and sprayed  COLOR SPLASH HOT PINK
Added the fussy cut kitty and sentiment and added lovely SHAKER SPRINKLES PIXUM

For this card I have used 2 fussy cut kitties and pattern paper for background  along with distressed background

For the tag I have used the tag die and  bakers twine ,
So here is the Purrfect set of stamped creations :)

Now showcasing the pawsitive set

for the background I have  Stamped the hearts from the set to create a background
used scalloped die to layer the fussy cut pug on it and tied it up with bakers twine !!

Here are cute little pugs wishing happy birthday :)

here I have used the tag die and fussy cut pug with bakers twine

arent they adorable ?

Here is the Valentines Cards all Purrfect and Pawsitive ....
Hope to have given you a view into basic stamping and tools :) 2 stamp sets and lots more to be explored !!

I would love to hear from you as which ones you like the most !!

Have a crafty day!

DIY Handmade Photo frame

Hello Friends ,

Im back again to inspire you all with my chipboard creation

I am dedicating this post to all little champs who want to give their best surprises and most valuable gifts to their parents ,friends and get some more ideas on how can we make the best use of our creativity like school projects by making an attractive photo frame.

You will need:

Craft knife (Optional for adults only)

With a little help, older kids can create these frames and gift them to friends and family. There are so many beautiful scrapbook papers available, you won’t be able to stop at just one. Get creative with the embellishments. I used simple painted chipboards but any number of things would be great.

1. Cut a piece of cardboard 9 x 7

2. Measure one inch from the edges all around and cut out. You may use an craft knife but since the scrapbook paper covers the opening, it is not necessary to cut it perfectly. The opening should be about 7"x 5"

3. Cut a piece of scrapbook paper 10"x 10"

4. On the non-colored side, place the cardboard on top and trace the center opening. Measure ½ inch smaller from the marked line around and cut out.

5. Make slits in the paper around the opening of the scrapbook paper to the line that represents the cardboard opening. Add a bit of glue on the edges and fold up the scrapbook paper.

6. On the outer edges fold in at the corners and glue the sides. Mark the traces along the lines of the actual size of the frame. Fold along the traced lines to the inner sides. This will make it easier to paste the former and the latter.
Do this all around to finish. Let dry.

7. Cut another piece of cardboard the same size as the frame and glue on to the back of the frame on three sides only, leaving the top edge unglued.

8. Make a stand and cut out. Fold 1/2” from the top and glue this section to the back. Make sure it is in the correct position for standing. Let dry.

9. When completely dry, glue the corners with embellishments to hide slight imperfections, if any. Slip a photo into the top and enjoy.

You can make it in any shape and any size you want.

Another super idea...Why not dress up your fridge? These are so easy to make and so lightweight that instead of attaching a stand, try gluing a magnet on the back and use it for displaying recent photos

In today’s digital world, we have many ways to wish someone special as my idol of my life but don’t you agree with me handmade crafts are the best and add love and respect into it and make it a special handmade gift.

I am sure implementation of this and similar ideas are very well possible for school projects, birthday gifts, and so many areas.

Creations with Different Types of Stamping Inks

Hello Friends ,
I am here to share a few creations I made along for the Stamping Workshop , where I introduced crafters to the world of Stamping and as well cleared their doubts about Inks

Here are a few creations made with Itsy Bitsy stamps and Pigment ink pads and chalk inks from Itsy Bitsy :)

Pigment inks are a lot thicker and generally have a glycerin base, pigment inks are opaque and thick. Pigment inks almost always come with a spongy foam pad to enable the ink to be picked up easily by the stamp. These inks are great for stamping on card stock, and a great thing about them is you can stamp lighter colors on darker card stock and the ink color will show. Pigment ink tends to "sit" on top of the card stock and takes longer to dry, so it's great for embossing. Pigment inks are generally fade-resistant so are good for scrapbooking. They may require heat setting to dry fully.

Chalk inks are usually similar to pigment inks but with a more "chalky" finish. They used to be enormously popular several years ago on the stamping marketplace. They usually dry faster than pigment inks and are acid-free and archival so great for scrapbooking. They are also permanent when heat set so work great with coloring and watercoloring. Even without heat setting they tend to resist smearing and fading. With their matte chalky finish, they look great on darker card stock.

one stamp set and lots more to be explored !!

Here is a Stamp Review I have posted earlier

I would love to hear from you as which ones you like the most !!

Forever Beautiful Mixed Media Creation

Hello Friends

I love creating on the canvas so I went ahead with creating a Mixed media creation for all of you here

Step 1 - Gesso the canvas white

Step 2 - After it dries paint it with Pearlised Metallic paint from Itsy Bitsy

Step 3 - layer it with paper scrap unevenly and do it till you are satisfied with the outcome

Step 4 - Stamp with Clear acrylic Stamps unevenly to create dark background impressions on the canvas

Step 5- Use color splash Ocean blue to create darker background and rub off the extra with waste cloth . I have tried giving different tones of blue on the canvas from top to bottom

Step 6 -  I have used Thin cut die and sprayed them with 3 different color splash shades

Step 7- layered the die cut on the canvas

step 8- added the chipboard embellishment , which I have coloured to gold shades

Step 8 - I have decorated it with Vintage flower which I have sprayed to the same shades to go with the background

Its a pleasure and a Dream come true Moment to be on Itsy Bitsy SPOTLIGHT !
Hope to have inspired you all with my Story and the Mixed media Creation

Thanks for all the Love and Support !
