DT Blog Hop at Itsy Bitsy

Hello Friends and Welcome!
If you are joining the Itsy Bitsy-Sizzix blog hop, you must have come here from the Itsy Bitsy blog, if not click here for the complete list & rules for joining the blog hop.
I am Pretty excited to be on the Itsy Bitsy Design Team !
This is my First Post here , so starting with my new found love for stamps,
an Tutorial on the masking stamping technique .

Masking is a basic stamping technique of covering a stamped image so that other images may be placed over it. The images stamped over the mask create a background to the protected image.
Masks can be created from masking paper as I've used here, or smaller masks can be created using Post-it notes. If Post-it notes are used, be sure to stamp part of the image over the tacky area as the adhesive will help to hold the mask in place.

Supplies you'll need:
Stamp set
White card stock
 Paper / RE-STICK NOTES
for masking
Ink
Large acrylic block
Scissors

1) Stamp onto white cardstock using Black ink, then color image with your choice of color medium

2) Stamp the flower on the paper using to mask
Carefully cut out each image. It is important to cut on the stamped lines.

3) Mask the flower and distress all over using the ink. I have used  Studio G Christmas Green Ink

4) Mask the flower Stamp the ‘Script Background’ with ink,

4) Mount onto peach cardstock and then MAGENTA card blank.

4) Finally add a  sentiment.

Here are two other projects made using the same stamp set

These will surely make your dear ones day special !

Stamp Sets used Botanicals and Vintage-stamps
Card stock
RE-STICK NOTES
Ink
Large acrylic block
Scissors
Bakers Twine
Pattern papers
Sentiments
