Canvas Scrapbook layout

Hello Friends ,

Today I have an interesting creation to share here. I had been awaiting long to try something not my usual style & as well use some hoarded Crafting stuffs! The Bangalore Craft Buddies have decided to meet on regular basis &  Anuja from Craftcollage has already blogged details of our last Swap :)

This Time the I was the Swap host & I decided on Scrapbooking...since it is my forte !!

Things I wanted to try were

1. Scrapbook layout without using Patten papers (that being my usual style)

2. Stencils I have been hoarding for last 3 yrs (The stencil collection from katrina hall)
I have collection of 4 books that I have been hoarding with 100+ stencils in it to be used !
Hoping that I start using it in my projects...
The last time I remember using one among it in 2012 stencil card
Stencil Card

3. Use Water colours &
Canvas  Pojects (I love working on it)

Finally this is what I came up with

Here I have used free silhouette women printable I have been saving for long don't remember the source though, I had used one in my last blog here
I added on this bling factor in her with the punched Flower...

Here you can see my latest shopping - Mdf cut outs,

These flowers are water coloured

The all in all picture where you can see behind the  silhouette women I have used my upcycled price tags shown in the last blog!

I gave them the makeover with the doily n bits of paper :)

Here I have used the Spring lilies stencil from the Stencil Collection Fruits & Flowers by Katrina hall!
This book includes ready to use Stencils & all the information on how to use them!

Thanks for dropping in !
Love to hear from you

Getting to know me blog Hop

Hello friends

I'm back after a long break......Anuja from Craftcollage invited me on a "Getting to know me blog Hop" & I thought Its the right time to get back here.... Anuja is a lovely crafter, she makes the most stunning creations (trust me I own some of her creations) she plays with Stamps, inks and sprays and lot more Do pay her a visit...

I am supposed to tell a few things about myself....

Why do I craft and blog ?

I am a Hobby Butterfly I keep hopping Hobbies every season, from school days I always loved the making handmade Gifts for friends & Family, I was very much encouraged so I have tried & tested different kinds of Hand-Crafts! Over the period studies took over & all my creations just adorned my home walls !

This is when all the love for cardmaking began - totally handmade Pop up cake card 3D CARD .

Here are a few Creations made during High school

Pencil scketching and colouring

Poster colour creation

It was During my pregnancy I started reading blogs & post delivery wanted to document my creation so started with blogging in 2010.I love the process of journaling , I love to treasure moments , cherish them & remember for life. Blogging gives me the kick to do more. I blog my new creations , making sure each new project tried is blogged here , mostly creations made for my family & loved ones!

Currently on my Table today I am all set to try Decoupage on Mdf!

My style
I am very sticker person , love hand drawn images & I love stationary so I mostly use Locally available stuffs in my creations or make my own embellishments available around in my house So that is what distinct my work from Others.

I fell in love with card-making again in 2011

My inspirations

I love documenting Life, I am romantic person that shows on my work & it inspires me, when I am feeling Low then there's Pinterest to bring back the Mojo!!

I love working on CAS projects as Layering needs more time , Being a hands on mom to a 4 year old n managing home without help I prefer to finish projects soon but on Scrapbooks I take my gala time on it & my customers dont mind !

These days I am learning layering & stamping along too

This process has taken me through my Journey from Quilts & Quills to Happymomentzz

Thanks friends for dropping in would love to hear more from you!
I love to hear from you & truly appreciate your feedback.
